Heresey 2 insulation?

i have a pair of Heresey 1s and they dont have any kind of insulation in them.So i recently bought a pair of 2s and(as i always do to speakers) opened them up,and found these have soft foam surrounding the woofer(not behind it) but seems like it is seperating the woofer from the horns.Is this correct or did the previous owner do this,thank you.

I haven’t had a pair of Heresy II’s for many years but I don’t recall there being any foam inside the cabinet. Possibly on the bottom bottom panel but not around the woofers.
 
The green colored foam in the H2 is original. In the installed configuration (forming a half-circle, front to back, around the woofer) the purpose is to dampen standing waves.
