Hey from AZ!

Hi everyone! As you can probably already tell from my screen name, my name is Jenn and I'm from AZ! :)

I've been searching for a nice antique stereo cabinet for a while now...years really...and I finally found a nice one in pretty good working condition this past weekend...

I happened upon your website in my searches online for any information on my cabinet! I have also read many good things about this forum on other forums :) That's always a good sign!

So, I'm going to beg and plead for any advice on how to property fix it up and restore it! :) I am a very honest beginner to this, however I can already tell that this is just the beginning for me! I can see how I could become very obsessed with this "hobby" :)

So - I just wanted to say hi and introduce myself before I shamelessly start begging for help! :music:

Welcome to AK! We're glad you could join us here! I think you'll find lots of good info in the forums. Enjoy yourself! :D

big Howdy jenn, hope you have alot of fun here, and, thanks for saving a console, it's one of my mantra's "one or more in every home".

Wow! Thanks for the kind welcomes! And, after owning my console for less than a week, I'm already addicted! It seems I have a bad output transistor (only figured it out with the help of cademan as I am a total amateur)...so, once I get the speakers up and running, and get my fine replacement needle for the TT, I will be able to throw on an LP and finally enjoy the glorious sound! I can't wait to share more with you all! :) Maybe one day I can return the favor and help someone else with all my new knowledge! :)

Hi Craig! Yeah - as soon as I fix this one up, I'll be on the lookout for another one...I'm sure I have a friend or family member that would gladly take it once I fix it up (I live in a smaller condo, so not a whole lot of room for several consoles - although I would love to have 20)...

And - Tony Stewart? NICE! :)
