I recently came across a pair of Sextets in good condition and at a great price (I think). Used to own a pair many years ago and got tempted. Ribbon tweeters could benefit from a replacement perhaps.
Am aware of the challenge replace the ribbon tweeter; however, I did come across some articles about replacing them with Fostex. Those seem to be discontinued. Another option seems to be Visaton MHT 12 (MHT 12 - 8 Ohm | Visaton).
Anyone with any experience with this? Replacement and quality of tweeters.
