Heybrook TT2 Update power source?

I have recently purchased my second Heybrook TT2. It has not even arrived yet, but i am planning on upgrading it.
Does anyone have experience with upgrading the power source on a TT2?
I have seen other Heybrook tables with an outside power source, but I do not remember any details.
Is this something that I should even consider?

I know that this is an old thread, but I wanted to chime in on some results I've had with my TT2. The Hercules II/Mose power supply didn't work well with my TT2. The pulley on the motor was wrong. I would have to manually change the belt from 33 to 45. Which, doesn't give any advantage to having it.

So I upgraded to the Mober kit. That is a dream. Push a button and you get the speed change. Plus its a DC motor so it is very quiet and precise. It is a nice upgrade.

After reading your post, I too want to install the Mober Kit on my Heybrook TT2. Is it fairly easy to install or do I need to make considerable modifications ?

Also, can you suggest where can I get the original Heybrook twin speed Motor Pulley ?

Hello Jai,

If you have any experience using a soldering iron, screw driver and drill, you should not have any issues installing it. It was a pretty simple process but you need to follow the installation instructions carefully. I got mine from Edmund Chan. He's here on the forum sometimes. Otherwise, PM me and I'll give you his email address.
