Hello all. I have a HH SCOTT 375R receiver I bought second-hand. It has been adjusted to bring it back to factory specs and the pots cleaned. It sounds very nice but it does have one little issue that I'm not certain were to start looking to track it down.
The right channel is a bit brighter in the treble compared to the left. I can compensate for it by turning the right speaker's tweeter level control to attenuate its output. It sounds very well balanced that way.
I've connected three different pair of speakers and the result is always the same. I suppose it is possible the opposite may actually be the case, the left channel may be a little treble deficient rather than the right being brighter.
It doesn't matter what input is chosen, AM, FM, AUX, TUNER or TAPE.
What are you guys thoughts on this, Preamp, Tone Control Amp, or a Power Amp strangeness? I don't have an O-scope at hand. Thank you for your feedback.
