HH Scott Pro 100 speaker specs

Hi. I currently have a pair of Pro100b in complete original condition and want to answer some of the questions asked here. Several years ago I purchased a pair of 197b as spare parts units for my Pro100b. Looking at my notes from that time the 15 in woofers are not the same. The Pro100b ohm reading was about 3.6 ohms vs the 197b which measured 5.7 ohms. The p/n is different also, 22-1130-049 for the Pro100b and 22-1130-055 for the 197b. The mids and tweeters are the same. Here is a photo of the crosseover. And also the spec sheet from the 1980 hh Scott catalog. Hope this help.

The Pro-100B woofers are different than the 197B woofers. Pro-100’s had a shiny, black gooey substance around the surround that the 197s didn’t. I worked at a store that sold both. I wound up buying the 100B’s and, let a guy talk me into tossing the original woofers when I was trying to get them reconed due to massive surround failure over time. They were stamped frames, and I suspect the manufacturer was Philips, like the mids and tweeters.

Thanks for that model number on the Pro-100B woofers. It might make finding a replacement easier for us!!!!
