Recently came into possession of a pristine set of JBL L1's. Only issue, zero sound output!
I have had two sets of L5's for 25+ yrs with same Mids and Tweets. Swapped out and found the L1 drivers are perfect. Could both crossovers have been fried simultaneously by previous owner? Fried to the point of zero throughput? Upon visual inspection, they both look fine. No apparent popped caps or melt/burn indications.
How do I test the crossovers?

Welcome to the forum! I think it would be easier first to test the DC resistance of each driver, across its terminals. See https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/how-to-use-a-multimeter

However, the woofer should work if that large coil (L1) has continuity, unless there's a bad connection somewhere. You can lift one leg on each resistor to test its DCR, but you will need a meter with a capacitance function to test the caps. The coils should each have continuity.
