Hello people :)

I just joined this group for a very specific reason (my nick is a big hint).

but then, just browsing around, seems like a lot of fun. I think I am gonna like it for many other reasons as well.

Cheers

Thanks for all the greetings, it's the first time I join a group and people take time to welcome me.

I had planned, so to speak, to refurbish my AMT3's some time in the future, but thanks to this group, I now have a schematic of the crossover and I am all hyped up about the project. I dusted off my old Quad 33-303, still working, but one thing leading to another, I suppose it would benefit from recapping unless....

Today, I think will be a great day. Driving to the big city to get some unp caps, I am also getting a Moog amp for my Etherwave and a new old Quad 44 - recapped 405-2 i found yesterday on the web.

Watch out neighbors !!!

Thanks again to all.

I am still having problems login-in. I checked all my internet options, firewall settings, browser details (Firefox) and I am using the remember me option of this site. When I log in, the site accepts my password and tells me i am logged in, but after browser redirection, I am not. Strange. Some days I log in first try, some others, i can't log in at all. Any clues?

My introduction was on the short side, here's a bit more. Slightly over 50, I realized over that threshold that there was less in front of me than there was at the back. The feeling was not great. Somehow, I was struck by youth again, I now feel fully energized and have decided to live the remainder to it's fullest and not waste anyday. The one constant in my life was always my love for music.

So I bought myself synthesizers, keyboards, basses, guitars and I am looking forward to the day when I'll be 25 years experienced playing music. Besides the playing, there's also the listening, and I want to do it with style. I am rebuilding the sound system of my youth (a darn good one), buying lots of CD's and now tapping into my 1200+ vinyls collection, mostly prog rock and some jazz, zealously preserved over my idle years. I was a DJ for 15 years and a rock scene photographer (with great memories) ;)

That's it for now. Have fun y'all.
