Just thought I would say hello and confess to being a true beginner in the world of quality audio. I'm hoping to slowly start upgrading my components but living in the West Kootenay area of BC I am a long way from much hands-on selection of gear. Looking forward to learning a thing or two here and hope my newbie questions don't cause too many groans.

Been an engineer for 35+ (not saying the +) years, and most people here know something that I don't. Generally I read and pick up these tidbits. Sometimes when I can help somebody, I chime in.
