Hi from Brooklyn - glad to officially join

Hi everyone,

My name is Sam, I'm an art designer working out in Brooklyn, NY. I've been a long-time lurker on AudioKarma for a few years, using this incredible forum as a reference to keep my gear running.

My setup at the office is centered around a pair of Rogers LS3/5a monitors. I mostly listen to jazz, classic rock, and live radio broadcasts. Lately, I've been getting more into the technical DIY side of things, specifically looking into standalone Wi-Fi audio options to feed uncompressed streams into older vintage analog gear.

I finally decided to officially stop lurking and join the house so I can learn more and talk shop with the experienced members and technicians here.

Cheers,Sam

Heya Sam! Welcome from the Boston burbs! I get down to Brooklyn often since by kid is in school there.

Wow, thanks for the warm welcome, everyone! Truly honored to be greeted by the heavy hitters and tech legends here.

@Ms Grumpy - Thanks for having me! Love the signature, I'll definitely keep my hands inside the vehicle and enjoy the ride.

@avionic - Much respect, sir. Thank you for your service! That Yamaha M-80 setup you got there is an absolute beast.

@Maran72 - Always great to see another New Yorker in the house! Good to know local ears are close by. That Marantz/Thorens combo is classic NYC style.

Looking forward to diving into the threads and learning from you all. Hope everyone has a great night!

Best,Sam
