Hello,
My name is Lee and I am from Scarborough, Ont.
I have been lurkin on your board for a few months trying to take in all this info regarding audio gear. I have been collecting gear on and off since the mid 90's but only recently have I seeked out the higher quality items. My father was a audio collector and manager of Kelly's Stereo and Japan Stereo way back in the late 70's and early 80's. Being around him I have learned allot about equipment but I'm no pro. Your board is very informative and I hope I can contribute my little knowledge when I am needed.

Hey Lee, welcome aboard!

Kelly's Stereo and Japan Stereo were bit here in the west....was your dad based here or in the East??

He only worked in Toronto and Mississauga from 1974-late 80's. He also worked at Trutone Stereo..Man, that was sooo long ago. I was just a kid but I loved March break and summer holidayz cus I would go to work with him and play every item in the store.lol. He had to tear me away from the JVC PC-55 boom box. I wanted it soooo bad but it was $600. bak in 86 which seemed like a million dollars to me at the time. It was heaven and I was 18.
