Hi from Central Coast, NSW, Australia!

70's Child

New Member
Good morning everyone,

I found this forum yesterday and thought I would join and say hi.

I have a new hobby.. collecting 70's hi fi gear! It all started when I decided to create an under "$300 hifi"for my shed 4 weeks ago and became re-acquainted with that beautiful sound of 70's gear.

I've since parted with around $1300 lol, and can't stop collecting.

Looking forward to looking around your forum.

Thanks for having me.

Felix is a fair way away from us.. He's 1500km further north in Queensland. Which is where I'd rather be right now, as NSW is a bit cold and miserable at the moment. ;)

g'Day I'm on the NSW Far South Coast.

Don't you just love how people think everything and everyone is so close by here.
A note to the rest of the world. This is the most sparsely permanently inhabited continent and our states are mostly the size of countries.

another note to fellow aussies (mostly sydneysiders) while I'm at it. 'South Coast' goes further south than Wollongong.

Thank you everyone for the warm welcomes... this feels like home already!

@ E.Man, I know people at Quarma..

@ Pete Mac - gotta say its a stunning and warm day here on the CC

@ Vintage Boy - your avatar - what model is that? I just bought 2 Marantz receivers, a 2220 and 2252b... sweet as!
