Hi Everyone,

I've been lurking a bit on the forums for the past month or so, looking at building a good (budget system). It's been quite a lot of fun, so I figured I'd join and get into posting and comparing gear, listening, etc.

I'm a 31 year old professional musician (tenured string player in the symphony/opera here in Dusseldorf), but I also have a background as a dj (breakbeat/electro) and had a folk rock band in new york for a few years as well while I was studying music there.

I listen to quite a wide range of things, from classical (the main purpose for my system), to classic rock, rock, and some more electronic and experimental things.

Anyway, just wanted to say hi, and I'll probably be posting about building my system.
