Hickory Hills IL Nakamichi 610 620 630

I counted at least 8 pairs of speakers, and at least four turntables.

I love the look of the Nak 630, too. That huge dial is so sexy.

Bose 601's and a Wharfdale. Don't recognize the other speakers. Some of the TT's look interesting.

I made a quick 50 mile round trip today. The Nak pieces were gone and $500 for the Bose speakers.
I could have picked up the single Wharfdale for $20 but for a single it wasn't worth carrying to my car.
Upstairs I made a couple interesting finds that did make it to my car. A tank of a turntable, the
Mitsubishi DP-CE10 with AKG P7C cartridge and X7E sylus, and 2 3 head Nakamichi decks.
A DR-1 and a ZX 7. Both need service as I'm sure the TT will benefit from as well. Not cheap
but I don't see a whole lot of 3 head Naks become available around here. I need to get them
serviced and see how they hold up against my F-990's.
Thanks for the tip K3C.

I think the 610 sold for $200. I wanted it but just need to downsize a little. What about the Jamo Studio Monitors? J-251.
Not much info anywhere. Curious how they sound. They wanted $500. Heavy, and carrying up the stairs would be no fun.

I see some fine Betamax's there. (I still have an operational Sony 900 that gets used maybe once a year).

Whatever his story, he did spend some serious dollars on his electronics back in the day.
