Any ideas what these were originally for? Look to be predrilled for specific drivers... I know I've seen this open bottom design somewhere before. Curiosity caught me on this one for sure. 38" high and 15" wide so it seems maybe a 12" woofer... Definitely a 3way with pads for mids and highs. Hmmm!

Marantz i would think. If i remember right, they had a foam plug that went
into the port that was removable and called it Vary-Q ...

Ok that was too quick... Delete your post and come back tomorrow. :thmbsp: Guess I didn't recognize them without their signature Marantz grills. Seems like a hassle to do anything with them.

Hhaaha! oks!. That's a nice project ahead :) find the original components and
make em sing !.

And grills, and crossovers, and everything. They're factory new with boxes. Marantz never got the chance to touch them.

Or,,, you could dress em up with a similar parameters woofer and from that, match a x-over, mid and tweeter!. Using OEM Marantz drivers would be more
gratifing tho . Grills can be made easily.
