Picked up a luxman r600 a few days ago that had a burnt fuse, replaced that and got it up and running. Everything works fine with it except that the left channel hisses. It's not very noticable when there is something playing, but it's there constantly. The hissing gets louder as I turn up the volume, but not much louder than it starts at. The hissing is also present in my headphones if I plug those in.
Now I'm not a person who knows that much about electronics so I have no idea what component that would be faulty. I found the service manual online and it for what I understand the left and right channel are the same component wise. Would it be possible to compare the components for the right channel to the ones for the left one with a multimeter, or would I need better equipment?
