Hey all:

I just saw one of these in a thrift shop, dated 1985 on the back. It's a real beast, huge heavy and solid. I don't exactly need it, but I was having trouble passing it up. Looks like it could be cool and was probably pretty high-end for its day. Anybody know this model? Is it worth going back and checking out its condition?

Hitachi made some good stuff in the 80's .
Just might be hard getting any parts for it though .
