Hitachi HMA 7500/8500MKII power meters needed.

What is the actual size needed to fit the panel?
Do you have specs on these, particularly the meter's range? I presume they are identical for both channels.

Thanks for picture.
Hopefully other AKers might know of a parts source but these look very proprietary for the make/model. The only other alternative I can think of would be to find a "for parts or not working" unit and cannabalize it, hoping that the meters are still OK.
Good Luck!

Yeah, they are not common. There is another amp that uses almost identical meters, called the Gradiente Esotech HA-2, which was sold in Brazil. The meters for it are still available, but only in Brazil. Bummer.

I'm hoping someone here on AK has one they are parting out.

OMG, good luck... I do have the HMA-8500MKII and the meters are proprietary like daybreak mentioned. You can't have only one meter since it's a whole plastic plate and it's a one piece meter with two mechanism embedded, you can't take just one. Best option is to find a part donor

Sounds like my car's dash instrument panel, sealed plastic unit, cut it open and it'll never be the same. "Designed with the service man in mind", right?

Yes, I know the meters are a one-piece design.
I would absolutely buy a parts donor, if I could find one.

I see. Well, I do hope you can find one.. these are amongst the nicest meters I've seen.. It's different from let's say the Onkyo M-504, Sony TAN-77 (also very nice), Proton and such.. I like the fact that it takes almost the whole width of the front panel.
