Hitachi HS500

I have an opportunity to buy a pair of Hitachi HS500s. From pictures it in mint condition and the owner says it auditions well. Unfortunately, I'm not able to find much on these speakers on the web. I found some info here: http://audio-database.com/Lo-D-HITACHI/speaker/hs-500-e.html

What do you guys think a reasonable price would be?

They sure sound nice in that setup off youtube. No clue on price but, pay what you think is reasonable from comparable speakers you've heard.

I picked them up yesterday for a song (read Benjamin) and I couldn't any happier. Worth every penny! I have a pair of omegas (single driver) and Martin Logans. While I love them, this is insanely good! Beautiful soundstage, really tight and nice deep end, beautiful top, you get the picture. What interests me most is the disappearing act, brings the music in front of you and lays it out in a beautiful 3D!

I have one pair of this and i love their sound. With them I learned what it is to hear a 3D soundstage for the first time.
I never thought that a pair of speakers could do that hehehe
