Okay 2 topics I apologize.
1. Just picked up what seems to be a good working order Hitachi L55, Kind of still getting new to the entire audiophile scene. Would this be a considerable upgrade to my Audio Technica LP60xt? Also, how would one check the speed on it or adjust speed if needed? And what preventative maintenance should I look into?
2. It came with a Pickering Cartridge and a well worn DL2E Stylus, Doing some research this seems to be an obscure needle to obtain, would it be worth keeping Pickering Cartridge and either sourcing an original needle or a good replacement and if so what would y'all recommend, Or should I but a different Cartridge? I know audio technica has one that's a plug and play.
