HK 330C Meter and stereo light not working

I got this for $30 recently. The pots were scratchy and lsmps were out. I clesned the pots and replaced lamps with leds.
It now sounds good but the tuning meter and stereo lamp are not working. I cant remember if the meter was working before I took it apart to replace lamps. After I turned it on I noticed the meter box had slipped down and one of the wire leads was touching the speaker 1 leads. I corrected it but still no meter movement. Also the stereo lamp which I replaced was not working.
Could the lamp and meter be from a related issue?
Does the lamp have polarity?
What voltage should I have across the meter leads?

I reversed the leads on the stereo lamp and it still didnt light on a strong station. I connected the lamp to the power lamp leads and it lit. So, the lamp is good. How can I tell which lead on the LED lamp is ground?

I have not been able to fix these issue. Using AI, I determine the the meter is bad. It should read 700-750 ohms across the terminals, Mine reads 10 ohms meaning the internal coil is damaged.
AI directed me to check voltage on pin 6 of the IC. It should drop from 11vdc to 0vdc when you tune to a stong station causing the stereo indicator lamp to come on. Mine did not drop indicating there is an issue with the IC or the surrounding component. I didnt go any furthur.
I hope this helps others with these issues.
