I have been offered a 70's solid state HK Citation 11 pre-amp.

Cosmetic condition looks good from the photos I've seen. No word yet on if it works.

Assuming that the unit works and the only issues are cleaning controls, etc. what would be a reasonable offer to make?

I'll have the chance to audition it with my power amp before making a decision on buying it. If anyone has first hand experience with this pre-amp I'd love to hear about it. Power amp is an integrated tube amp on which I'll be bypassing the pre-amp on. The tube amp lacks tape mon loops which I really need.

it's a decent preamp. one that i found sat in a garage for 20 years but still worked after cleaning the contacts. nothing special though. i wouldn't pay more than $100 if it was in perfect condition.
