HK Rabco ST-7 Cart selection?

I just aquired a new to me ST-7 and it came with a Grado black cart. I have a few carts I could conceivable swap out to it but I am nor sure if there is an advantage to doing so.
Currently I have a Shure V15 Type IV with the Jico SAS on it mounted on a sweet Sanyo TP-825D. So is this a better cart on the HK or where it is because it sounds fantastic on the Sanyo.
Shure M55e mounted on a Sony PS-1800A and this one sounds nice, not fantastic like the other combination.
I have a spare Red Ed I could put on the HK.
I guess I could also upgrade the stylus from the "basic black",
And just for fun anybody have a way to make sure alignment etc... is correct withpout the HK tool? That I did not get....

Have a look at the Grado 8MZ stylus upgrade.

It would not require the alignment tool, assuming the cartridge is correctly aligned.

It was detached

The cart was detached but I did leave the fore and aft just as it was. I'd of course like to check it for myself.
Would that Grado upgrade be equivalent to the SAS?
I do notice much less noise with the SAS and i assume it's hitting parts of the groove heretofore untracked!

The Grado 8MZ would be wasted on the Grado Black body, however you can always upgrade the stylus to a Green or something a bit higher up.

The Jico SAS would match the tonearm quite nicely and I would suggest you put the Shure on the ST7 and the Grado on the Sanyo as IIRC the Grado Black prefers a heavier tonearm.
