Hk770 recap question

HK770 both driver boards has 2x220uf caps in place of one cap as shown in picture below. Per manual it must be 100uf C401 and C402 on board. When i asked chatgpt it said it is factory design for lower ESR. Im confused. Please advise which cap i need to use Thanks

looks like someone did a ghetto recap and installed 2 - 220uf taiwanese caps in series to get within tolerance of 100uf. you can see the solder blob between the caps and pcb.

you can see the factory glue where they removed the original cap.
