Holders for Cartridges

Does anyone know where to source holders for headshells that fit on the turntable. Some turntables have them ans some don't. I am building a turntable and would like to install 2 or 3 holders on the table to keep my different headshells and cartridges for quick and easy swapping. Someplace has to have this type of device.

Are you something that holds the headshells vertically (like a hole in the plinth) or horizontally?

I don't know your design, but if there's room for it on your plinth, just drill holes (5/16"), then cut a little slot for the pin. I have this arrangement; put the holes far away from the platter/cartridge (where all the action is) and face the spare cartridges backwards, to avoid accidental stylus damage (many of my carts don't have stylus guards). With this method, there no need to spend $ a holder, it's low-profile visually, you can match it aesthetically with your design — and it's easy to do.

If they are standard headshells, you could buy a few of the Technics alignment gauges and glue them into the holder of your choice as they hold the headshell nicely.

I haven't seen the headshell sockets that many TTs had back in the day. That would be the way to go.

Maybe you could contact an parts donor company, we have two tt parts suppliers that support AK and see if one of them has a plinth that is damaged and has one of these sockets. Get the socket and get it 3D printed. Be forewarned if you do that there will be a demand for about 50 of those sockets.
