Home theater and Tannoy Application

I have been really eyeing the Tannoy Revolution X8’s not only for 2 channel stereo application but also for home theater. My budget is going to force me to pick a speaker that will excel in both areas. Does anyone own this Tannoy model and use them for home theater application? I would really appreciate some feedback. Especially since I don’t have a dealer in my area where I can hear these. If I send them back I have to pay shipping and restocking. The end goal would be to have the Tannoys be my entire surround setup. I heard them demo’s once when I was out of town and fell in love with their sound and fluidity to my ears just not sure how well they will apply as home theater application. Thank you.

Tannoys dual concentrics are always good. You will probably want a powered sub with them for home theatre.
