Maybe something like this is already out there but I haven't seen it yet. I wanted to get some speaker stands for my HPM-100 speakers. While looking online I wondered if there were any custom stands that might incorporate the Pioneer Logo. I couldn't find anything, so I decided to make my own.
I am by no means a carpenter, but I gave it a shot. I printed out a Pioneer Logo and had a Photocopy shop enlarge it to the exact size I would need to fit the speaker width. I then traced it onto bristol board and cut that out to use as a template. I didn't get too fancy with the wood because I wasn't sure how it would turn out. I used Walnut veneered board for the logo and a scroll saw to do the cutting. The top was cut from pine board, but I applied iron on veneer to the front, side and back edges. Nobody sees the top anyway so I left that alone. The rest of the stand is oak 1 x 3. The logo is attached to the top board by two "L" braces.
The concept could be used for any Pioneer speaker, just adjusting the Logo to the width of the speaker. I really like the look. The height from the floor to the speaker is 16".
