Honest Restoration/Repair for 2275

Looking for the guy that cares to do a good job for a fair price. Searches on the internet yield the same story of unscrupulous techs taking the money and never doing the job or doing it poorly. Who's out there that's a straight shooter? I do know who not to use!

Edited: I'm in the San Antonio, TX area. Don't want to ship but I will if the reputation is there!

Let folks know your general location so they can possibly recommend somebody who may be nearby.
 
Thanks for the input. I spoke to a local tech and we're going to take a look at the 2275 to determine it's condition. If he can handle it I won't have to ship so this is my first choice. However, nothing is set in concrete. I'm making a list of potentials.... sad day for society when you have chase references due to the high level of fraud and general deception. Thanks again to all!
 
I would like to report on the status of my 2275. After all the drama (and $$'s) my local tech did the job and I am happily listening to the unit as I type. Work is exceptional and the turnaround was a about a week. Replaced capacitors both BA312 IC's on the tone control board, installed the LED kit and the sound and appearance is unbelievable. I almost forgot how beautiful a 2275 in all it's glory can sound and look!

I appreciate the input and suggestions from the community, and support when I was feeling all was lost after dealing with the scammer Brent Huskins of Crossed Paths Vintage. If you find yourself in need of a local tech in the San Antonio area, Bjorn's Audio/Video may be your solution! Now back to that incredible sound of the 2275!

Thanks for responding. I am happy to report that the 2275 has been restored to like new condition and I'm enjoying the Marantz sound (and appearance) as I type. I will keep you in mind for future reference. Best!
