Hook-Ups

Greetings all, I haved recently acquired a set of SpeakerLab satelite speakers (bookshelf) and a SpeakerLab subwoofer. They are obviously a set, the sub has two positive and negative sets of connections on the back and I have no directions on what connections to make. Any one out there know? :scratch2:

I came into this thread thinking it about something else, thanks to the title.

It sounds to me like you've most likely stumbled into a satellite with passive subwoofer arrangement. If I am correct, then the speaker leads from your amplifier will go into the input connections whilst the satellites are hooked to the other set. A crossover in the subwoofer will direct the low frequency signal from the amplifier into the subwoofer driver and the remainder will be passed onto the satellites.

However, to be certain and to prevent you blowing something up -- ie don't hook anything up just yet -- a picture will be needed.

Gentleman, Sorry for the misleading intro, unfortunately I do not have a digital camera here. I will attempt to locate one and post some pics. Many thanks for the attempt to help, I realize I have not provided enough info.
