Hooking up three m80 amps

What would be the proper way to hook up three Yamaha m-8o amps into a Yamaha c-80 pre amp ? Also what would be the proper way to hook up the speaker wires , and to which amp ? I'm asking this so no gear will get destroyed. Thank you .

Just one set Polk LSI9'S .[ do I also have to watch the way I place the wires on the speakers terminals } Never tried what I'm asking , just don 't want to harm any gear . O.k 2 Amps would even be great please explain also only one Pre amp c85 .
 
Thank you will check out manual online , I searched on the topic before posting question for me not enough information on proper way to due it . May seem easy to some , but want to feel safe from any damage from hooking up incorrect.
 
I use my C-80 to run 3 amps at the moment and it does so without any issues.

First thing is you need to decide how you want to set your amps up. You could have them hooked up as 3 normal stereo amps potentially driving 3 separate sets of speakers. You could run a pair of your M-80's bridged, for about 3-times their stereo power output into a single pair of speakers. My bridged P2201 amps are good for about 700wpc into 8 ohms and a pair of M-80's should be similar in that regard. Alternatively, you could run the amps in stereo but use the inverted preouts to run one channel inverted for superior bass performance:

Chris B, I don't get your setup due to grainy pic can you repost so I can see what is really being suggested. I have a three amp setup in my house so I am interested in any new suggestions. Thanks
 
The pic I posted is just a screenshot from the manual that shows how to use the inverted preouts to run one channel of a stereo amp out of phase from the other, which takes a lot of the load off of the power supply and typically helps bass performance. I do this with my M-2.

Because you are running one of the stereo channels out of phase, you reverse the hookup to the speaker on that channel (positive to negative, negative to positive) which brings that channel back into phase. This is what is illustrated in the grainy pic.

Thanks for the help . Easy enough, after looking at manual . Reason for trying this out , want to see if there is going to be a improvement in sound . I have seen a ton of amps pictured running together now I know how .
 
If your looking at a three-way ( tri -ampping) your set of speakers. You will need a 3-way active crossover.

Funny, my mind jumped to bi-amp LR and a sub. or a mixer for LR and blended center all bi-amp....... Klipsch and Altec had arrangements like this LRC if memory is correct.
