House Shaking!

Picked up a pair of excellent condition CV AT-15’s today. I have a very small room, and boy do these things get loud with no distortion. Not too bad sounding also. Kinda fun … my son loved it … the wife, not so much, lol.

System Specs:

Yamaha C4 Preamplifier
Onkyo M504 Amplifier
Macbook Air / Airport Express / iTunes
Cerwin Vega AT-15’s

Thanks! While not my favorite speakers, they are a lot of fun for the family. I have my Triads/Wharfedales off to the side for now :)

Is that tiny woodgrain box intended to be a subwoofer? I bet the CVs are thinking "Aw, how cute."

or maybe "That's not a woofer. THIS is a woofer."

I think if you move them away from the wall a few inches it may sound better, the ports need room correct?

Looks awesome, how much does that amp cost and how many watts does it push?

I want that amp - I bet it jams!

The whole system reminds me of circa 1988 at Circuit City. Not an insult either, I have favorable memories of that gear/era and place.

Nice set-up.
I'm looking at D-9's (second childhood rock out phase)
That amp. looks very cool.

Have you tried moving the speakers away from the wall a little bit? Right now they are almost a sealed cabinet hehe.

IMO surely, I dont quite like Onkyo Amp. Its sound is a little bit "dark". Why not using UK amp? Btw, I'm a fan of CW too, especially D serie.

Very nice meters, that is a really cool amp. Did the 901s not work out? Or do I have my timeline out of whack? Those CVs look like they can annoy the neighbors more efficiently than ever. :)
