I just picked up my first CL equipment. I picked up a Pioneer SX-780 and a Pioneer PL-55DX. They all work which is good, but the TT does not play thru to the end of the record. It returns with about 1/4-1/2 in of the record remaining. How do I adjust this. I am not that good with all of the bells and whistles yet, still learning all of this. Thanks:scratch2:

I think your best bet is to remove the bottom of the tt and see what is causing the auto return to trigger. I believe this one has a mechanical trigger and not optical like some tt's. You could either run the arm over manually by hand or put a old record on and watch it while the arm moves over while it's playing to see what is triggering the return. I'm sorry I don't know the tt any better but that's the best advise I can give.
Go to vinylengine.com to the Library section and see if they have that model listed. If so, they may have the service manual and it will show where to adjust this.
Consider that the adjustment might not have been physically changed by anyone and the problem is from age and need for cleaning/lube of this mechanism. If you go tweaking adjustments when all it needed was lubed then you are opening another can of mess.
