How do I add 3 subwoofers to a one line out

The Oppo 105D only has 1 subwoofer line out but I want to operate 3 subwoofers.
Is there such a thing as a RCA 1 to 3 cable?
What is the possible problems and or concerns should I have of running 3 subs off of the single subwoofer out?
I know another option would be running the 3 subs off of one 2ohm stable amp... any recommendations?
Any help is appreciated.

Powered Subs would be little problem but not powered could be? If I may ask why would you want 3 Subs in the first place? I run no subs but have 15" Woofers in my SPKS and don't need any Subs:)
 
If the subs have a line in and out you could daisy chain them. Otherwise you would have to get a little crazy with splitters.
 
Just use a splitter. You should be fine. Usually they are two way (one in, two out), in which case you would need two of them to get three outputs. But if you search I bet you can find a splitter that does three out or more.

Good idea of daisy chaining as I have yet to purchase my amp or amps.
Im thinking of possibly purchasing 3 mash plate amps, 1 for each sub or possibly a good 3 channel amp or a 2/3 ohm stable amp.
I am running with vintage JBL L212s with the original Bass energizers, although the bass sounds good they just cant quite keep up with the stacked 212s output on most recordings and movies with their original 75 watt internal amps.
Why 3 subs? Simply for better quality bass (I am more of an audiophile) but it certainly helps with the output.. I do have a fairly good size room....
 
3 subs or 5 , doesnt matter to me

But (always a but) since you are going to buy or DIY the subs I bet you can get 2 subs to do the job if done right. I've been in rooms with just one sub and it vibrated the walls and my pant leg
 
I hear ya on that.. right now I am utilizing just one of the Bass energizers as I just switched out the internal amp with one that was residing in my def techs just for experimentation purposes .. its a 300 watt plate sub amp and its pushing some nice bass .. much improved over the original..
 
I forget how a 2 sub setup looks but it is something like one sub in one of the front corners the other sub on opposite side wall about 3/4 back (behind listening seats)

If both subs were 300 watts 15 inch -- I dont see how you could want more bass

I would have wondered that at one time too. That is, until I added the second sub to my home theater. It made a huge improvement. If I had the room and money, I would have 4 subs for even better distributed bass. What surprised me was not that the dead spots were gone, but that music sounded much better than before, and I usually do not like music played through an HT setup. It is now actually enjoyable.

I bought this splitter for mine. Good quality. Two of these would do the job for you.

Well it can look differently in different set ups and scenarios. I had 2 15" monster paradigms that I had in opposite corners in my room.. great for movies not so for dedicated 2 channel listening.. of course depending on the sub and set up one may not want the room gain that you get from corner placement. I prefer away from wall and corners more for a cleaner accurate bass frequencies..
 
I run two subs on each system, can't say i need a third LoL.
As mentioned, you can daisy chain all three or just one.
I am daisy chaining a pair now in the living room, but run a "Y" splitter on the two in the bed room.
I can't say which is better, or more like i can't tell which way one pair is ran over the other.
 
Thank you HTHMAN... absolutely it is an improvement.. I may eventually be running more but I only have 3 of the Bass energizers at this time.. .. again its on the lines of diminishing gains but I do know that for me any slight improvement in my sound is worth it.
I agree with you as far as dead spots as well .. I noticed this especially when I stacked my 2 pairs of JBL L212s .. everything improved along with solidifying the center image .. much more of a sweet spot.
 
I have had many subs in my time and most were good ... I found the paradigms 15s too be way too difficult to tame but had nice output for movies.. I will be placing the 3 subs 3 ft from their back wall.. and none of them will be closer than 4 ft from side wall.. I do get good quality output down to 30hz but I think getting any 25hz or lower with quality will be difficult with the box design and the original 12" drivers..

I hear ya.. I am not really looking for "more" bass necessary but want more accurate bass and even distribution..
