How do I repair this KLH 17 voice coil?

I just bought a pair of KLH 17 speakers from eBay. One of the woofer has a rubbing voice coil. I spent 2 hours to take it apart. See the attached picture. I believe the voice coil overheated and came off the former. The former is probably OK. But the coil is rubbing against the plate. You can see the bright spot in the picture.

I would like to try to repair it just for fun. Does anyone know how to do it? I know there are three layers of wire. I suppose that I can guess how many turns are there on the former. But what is the size of the wire and where can I buy the wire? Also, how do I prevent them from unwinding when I manually wind them? Finally, do I use epoxy or something to coat them afterwards? What kind of adhesives to use to glue back the surround and the spider?

If it's not opened circuit. 5 min epoxy on the hanging wires and reform and push back in place.

To determine the size, you wpuld need to burn off the insulation on the wire and mic it. Look at this chart to find the size.

You can get the wire at any electric motor rewind shop.
