How do you test electrostatic panels?

I just acquired four 45.5”x8” electrostatic panels that I am looking to test. I know that I can’t test them like a conventional speaker, but I am not sure how else to do it. There are three identical wires coming out of each panel. Also, since I could not find a brand, model number, or any other type of text printed on the panels, I am wondering if anybody could tell me any of this information. You really can't test them using conventional means like you can with a dynamic speaker. Most electrostatic panels consist of three main parts: two stators, one on each side (some cheaper ESLs eliminate the rear stator) and a diaphragm between the two. When in use, one stator has a negative charge, and the other a positive charge. The polarity changes based on the signals sent to the stators, which alternatively attract and repel the diaphragm. There is no electrical connection between them. To test them properly, they need to be connected to an energizer.
