I have a broken 9500 that I LOVED while it was working, in the que for a rebuild. I have the chance to pick up an AU-888 and TU-888. Other than pure lust for the gear itself, how does the AU-888 sound compared to the 9500?

All I can say is that I am happy with my AU/TU-888.

A pretty rare combo, if the price is right, get them.
