how does the Rotel RCD-965BX LE sound? (incomparing to other CD players)

I found that Rotel's CD player (the RCD-965BX Limited Edition) in a store that sell old electronics. It's 18 years old but still work well and good looking, 100% original.
Googling, I found many good comments & reviews about its sound, but for more detail, can you gave me some comparision with other CD players like Sony's or Philips' (the low/mid/high range, the dynamic, the detail....)
(because I'm using a Philips CD850 and a Sony XA5ES)
