How much do you think this is?

I think the market for something like this is more the "mid-century modern furniture" buyer, rather than someone searching for hi-fidelity. For that crowd, condition is nearly everything, so tuck in that floppy grille cloth, dust out the inside, and take some fresh pictures.

^+1. You could do very well in the furniture category - probably better than the audio arena. I just read about a guy who bought a set of Bose 501's first series for cheap and sold them as "mid-century modern furniture" in some forum for over a 500% mark up. I was googling "Bose 501" when I found that a couple days ago.

As audio those types of RCA turntables only go for $100 +/- $50 in my neck of the woods. The legs help a bit, but not much.

I don't know but I wouldn't think so.

Correct.

It's mono, not stereo.
The speakers are in the same cabinet as the turntable, so bass will be limited in order to keep the turntable from feeding back.
It's a heavy tonearm, and a cartridge with heavy tracking force and a large contact area, so it's going to wear out records faster.

Im only going to listen to some rock records, rolling stones etc and if i dont buy the first copy of it, will the sound quality be awful or just worse then the modern ones? (I dont mind them breaking because as in above i wont buy valuable ones) thanks

Awful sound, if it works at all.

But it's pretty. That's its one saving grace.

If you're buying something for listening to vinyl, save your money and buy something else.
