Trying to upgrade my condo stereo from a crappy Yamaha surround sound system to something a lot more substantial. I've already received a green card from my wife but since you guys know so much more than I do I thought I'd ask for advice.
Here is what I found:
2x Polk RTA 11T (6ohm, 30-250W)
4x Polk R30 (8ohm, 20-100W)
1x Polk CSi25 (8ohm, 10-100W)
1x Energy EPS100 (Powered dual 8", 100Wrms, 400Wpeak)
1x Denon AVR-2805 (7.1 channel receiver, 100 watts x 7 into 8 ohms)
Matches the speakers well and can do a proper 7.1 output
The TV that I'd be hooking up is a 5 year old LG 55" 3-D smart TV. I'm not sure if the Denon receiver has the proper input or not.
This is also going in my condo so if it requires a ton of power and volume before it really sounds good I might have to pass.
Thanks in advance.
