I see an MC2205 for sale, was trying to gauge what they cost these days, nd nioticed teh shipping was quite expensive.

Unless you're an eBay newb (which you're obviously not), you know to check shipping costs. And if it's BIN, typically you need to enter your payment before the item is considered yours, so the total with shipping will be evident.

I can sort of see the reason for using excessive shipping charges. While eBay calculates the final value fee on the closing price, including shipping, and sorts items by final price including shipping, some searches will not include the shipping amount (if, say, you search for items selling for below such and such an amount). Back in the old days, when the FVF didn't include shipping, people would sell items for $1.00 and have a $200 shipping charge, but eBay got smart to that and now everyone pays.
