How much would you pay for a Dual 1019

I have a chance to buy a fully restored Dual 1019.

How much would you pay for a fully restored Dual 1019, with a new dust cover? Not including the cartridge.

There's already a price for it, but I just want to see how much others would pay for this model.

Mine was free, sans cartridge and cover and while not restored it was in VERY good condition and needed almost nothing. However despite what I got it for and knowing what I know now after a year or so of using it I would say perhaps as much as $250 to 300 without a cartridge. "Fully restored" by whom and what did that entail?
 
Most AKers don't pay retail, or anywhere near it. I sold a restored 1019 with the box for around $250 a few months ago. Fully restored usually just means cleaned and lubed. I like to buy them unrestored for $100 or less.
 
Yeah, I see a lot of the prices that people pay for turntables around here, and I get very jealous. Where are you all finding these turntables for such low prices?!

I would love to buy an unrestored turntable, but I'm new to the turntable business, and I wouldn't know a thing about cleaning or repairing old turntables.
 
I paid $250.00 for mine with cartridge, and a beautiful custom cabinet. It works great and is beautiful. Local purchase, no shipping.
 
I'd need a better idea of what you consider full restoration. To me a fully restored item is returned to like new, as it came out of the box, cosmetically and mechanically. A little more info is needed for me to give a useful answer.

Unfortunately, krisjay, I'm not too familiar with turntables and the restoration process, so I can't tell you what kind of restoration it was. As audiomagnate mentioned, the Dual 1019 was probably just cleaned and lubed.
 
The good thing about a 1019 is that the construction is for the most part bomb-proof. The most problematic area of it is probably the contacts in the headshell due to corrosion and that can be addressed. Other than that, cleaning (inside too) and lubing might be all it ever needs.
