Kermit the Frog
About a month ago, I got myself a REM Automatic for the People cassette tape. One distinguishing feature of that Cassette was its transparent tape, but it worked fine so I disregarded it. Recently, I checked the tape, and I found that the tape had turned a more common brown color. I haven't noticed any sound quality decrease (at least quality decrease that I notice) so I am setting it aside as a non-issue for now. Is the brown tape a sign of the tape degrading, or is it something else?
