How to access the undercarriage of a Garrard 82

Hello, all. I need to get to the below-deck workings of this Garrard Model 82 automatic turntable. The transit screws that secure the suspension over the springs seem to unscrew only so far and removing all the other top screws did not loosen it. And the underside seems to be solid plastic with no accessible screws, or maybe they are hidden. Anybody know how to get in there? I need try to figure out what's wrong with the speed selector linkage and replace the RCA cables. Thanks!

P.S. I think I found them way up in the rim. I would delete this post if I knew how.
