How to connect my components. Please help.

I just acquired a denafrips ares 2 and a iris 12th. How would I go about connecting my bluesound node 2i to these? I'm very confused and new to the audio game. I'm not sure what connects to what and what the best connections would be. Any help is appreciated. My amplifier is a yamaha as1200.

Coaxial RCA from Node 2i to either of the DACs (Aries 2 or Iris 12, both not needed at once) coaxial inputs. RCA analog output from DAC to Tuner or CD or Line input on Yamaha AS1200.

The iris 12th is a ddc not dac. This is part of why I'm so confused. Thanks for replying.

Is there a reason to use the DDC? Seems a lot of unnecessary connections unless you think your bluesound would benefit from the change in format.

Quick look suggested to me the IRIS only has USB input, but the Node 2i doesn't appear to have USB output. Seems like a problem.

You could, however, connect the Node 2i to the Ares, then the Ares to the Yamaha.

Well I Googled Denafrips Iris and thought it said DAC, but is said DtD. The DtD is not really needed and as @whoaru99 the Node 2i has no USB output apparently.

So, revised suggestion, Coaxial RCA from Node 2i to the Aries 2 DAC coaxial input. RCA analog output from Aries 2 DAC to Tuner or CD or Line input on Yamaha AS1200.
