How to get PCM 96 on Sony STR-DG 500?

Hello :)

I have the Komplete audio 6 (DAC) spdif out connected to the Sony STR-DG 500 DVD spdif in.
When i play a 24/96 track using Foobar the display on the Sony STR-DG 500 shows PCM 48. the Sony STR-DG 500 specs says it supports 24/96. so what's the problem?
