Remember, you're only seeing what the film makers want tyou to see. I watched it this weekend, also followed the trial(s) when they were taking place. Lots of stuff missing from the film.

Liz thinks they outcome (no spoiler inserted) is as the show designed it to be, I'm way more skeptical and comfortable with its ending and current status

Amazing the scenario in both cases of the girl being chained to his bed, raped, throat cut, and shot, with absolutely no evidence of shackling on the bed, no blood found in his house trailer,,,,,,, anywhere,,,,,, no knife found and only 1 bullet found weeks later in his garage,,,,,,, which also had no blood in it, found by a detective that he was suing,,,,,,, who also just happened to be the one who found her car key in plain site in his bedroom, after it had already been searched like 7 times. The key, btw, had Avery's DNA on it, but not a trace of DNA of the murdered girl who owned the vehicle. All the evidence was out of place and posed a lot of unanswered questions and was all found by cops that were suppose to be restricted or limited access to the scene.

Avery may be guilty but I don't think so,,,,,,,,, but at the very least he should get a retrial. The entire case was a witchhunt with a vendetta.

My personal opinion of whodunit,,,,,,,, His brother in law Tybach, and his nephew, Brendan's older brother, who both had a single alibi about going deer hunting, they both had complete access to everything as well as history of abuse to women. I think they did it and stashed the body in the Rav4,,,,,,, then the cops found it and immediately schemed to frame Avery to get rid of both him and the 36 million dollar lawsuit he had against them for proving they falsely convicted him for rape 15 years earlier.

This guy Avery don't come across as being very bright, but he don't come across as a murderer either.

So that's my opinion right now,,,,,,, we'll see.

I did see on the internet this week that he has a new lawyer and new evidence coming forth,,,,,,,,,,, the saga continues.
