How to repair a quad 303 power amp and 33 pre amp

So I got both of these for really cheap but they don't work the 303 doesn't do anything and the 33 powers on but doesn't do anything after that I tried the 33 disc and tape modules in another 33 and they work fine. Any tips on finding out what's wrong and repairing them?

When I worked on a fellow AKer's Quad stuff, I remember that they had special interconnect cables!
Do you have those?

Check the fuse first on the 303

I have been doing a full blown restoration of a Quad 303 and Quad 33 that were thrown away by my neighbor when he moved. You might find some useful information in the following two threads I started and am still busy with as ongoing projects:
