How to test individual electrostatic speaker panels

I'm not sure which forum is best for this question. Thought I'd give the DIY group a shot. I came across three Janszen electrostatic panels and would like to test to see if they are in working order. Does anyone know how best to test these? Should good panels rear a certain resistance?

The panels themselves should have infinite resistance, reading open circuit.

Open across any two/all of them at the highest range.
