How to test speakers with scissors and a 9V battery

Pretty neat Video I found from a sound guy that shows how to test the polarity of speakers that have no markings to show you which is positive or negative....

Now I know some of you probably know all this stuff already but noobs like myself and I'm sure others still have lots to learn....

9 volts can fry a voice coil. A 1.5volt AA, C or D cell is much safer.

Plus you can still buy battery holders for said battery sizes, with leads and you can add your own test clips or probes (the latter being safer).

I believe that a momentary contact button is a good idea to have wired into one of the leads.

BTW: There are other things that these gadgets can be used for besides polarity checks. Darn handy gizmo!
