Greetings from the Keystone State - Several years ago I got interested in listening to vinyl and it's become a huge hobby of mine. The further I delved into it the more I became interested in vintage stereo equipment. I've tried out several turntables and right now I use a Thorens TD-145. It's my favorite one I've ever owned because it runs beautifully and also has the automatic lift-off feature. I also have a Pioneer SX 880 receiver but right now it needs a repair. Over time as I've had questions about equipment, most of my google searches would lead me to a thread on audiokarma, so I decided to join. Hoping to learn more about upgrades and other fun things I can do with my stereo.

You might start a new thread in "Do It Yourself" to see if we can help you with the problem you are having with that receiver. There are a lot of very capable people here that are more than willing to help you get it going again.
